Juggling Life During Times of Trial

We are hanging in and holding on to the immutable hand and grace of God our Father.  Knowing He is on our side encourages us to wait patiently.

Can I say that this has not been a tough trial?  No.  That would not be true.  In fact, many days during this year, I have felt like it was raining…hard…right on my head.  But, my Lord never promised that I would have a life of constant rainbows, sunshine and happy times.
Still… I have learned so much during this trial about pressing on, doing that next thing and juggling life during times of trial.  I am still waking up with a grateful heart and I am still trusting in the goodness of God for deliverance from this time of trouble.
This I know:
  • Jesus is my help and He loves me.  Psalm 121:2

“For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

  • My family and I are healthy and we are walking in obedience to the Word of God.
  • I can count this time of trial as joy because I know that the Lord, our God is perfecting my faith and bringing me into a deeper understanding of Him and His ways.  James 1:1-3

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

Lastly, I have learned that sometimes…maybe oftentimes…blessings come disguised as trials.

Thank you Jesus for counting me worthy. I know you are with me even through this storm.
